We have added a new product on our shop page, for purchase of a complete OEM Peterbilt speedometer/odometer. As we receive cores and get them ready to go, we will update our inventory and make them available for purchase. We have had trouble getting cores and when we do get them they sell fast. So if you need one and see one available on the site, jump on it! We keep stock levels updated, and don’t sell parts we don’t have in our shop and ready to go!

Included in the purchase of our complete gauges is having the odometer set to your truck’s mileage.

We rebuild all cores we receive, and test each one extensively before we add it to our available stock so you can always count on receiving the best, longest lasting speedometer available.

Peterbilt Speedometer Odometer Not Working

If you are seeing this page, you are probably having the same issues many other truck owners are having; Your odometer has quit counting mileage accurately or has stopped all together. You need to keep track of your mileage, and now you can’t without dealing with the headaches of using an aftermarket solution. Take the easiest route and have your original gauge repaired. This repair has been, and will continue to be updated constantly to ensure that we are staying up to date with the newest issues our customers are seeing, and we apply the same fixes we see on some of the odd-balls to every gauge we repair to ensure you will not have any new issues later on down the line. We have repaired hundreds of these specific gauges, and have an incredibly good defect rate. When you receive this gauge IT WILL WORK, and will continue working for years to come. I will not put my name on work that I am not 100% satisfied with.

If your speedometer is still working properly but your odometer has quit, that is an indication that you are still receiving a good speed pulse to the speedometer.

But even if your speedometer has quit also, or maybe your odometer is still working properly, no problem. We can fix it!

We bench test every gauge before and after repair to ensure all issues have been addressed, and to verify operation before shipment.

All new replacement components we use for these repairs have been stress tested extensively, disassembled and examined to ensure that the failure points in the OEM components have been addressed properly before we use them as a replacement.

Peterbilt Odometer Adjustment

If your odometer has stopped working at some time in the past, unless you just parked the truck, your truck will have more miles on it than your odometer shows. We are able to add miles to bring it back up to where it should be. An adjustment on these is more invasive than just a standard repair, and usually doubles the amount of time we have in them, so it is an additional cost and will delay the turn around time a bit. We are only able to make adjustments on gauges that we are repairing, and only to realign the odometer with the truck’s computer. Please be sure to include the mileage you need it set to in the form you are asked to fill out after adding a repair to your cart.

Peterbilt Tachometer Repair

Tachometers in these trucks also cause a lot of problems. Usually the tachometer needle will just float around, or sometimes it can get stuck within a certain range of RPMs. We are able to repair this, please see Peterbilt Speedometer Odometer Tachometer Repair to purchase!

There are many issues that can cause this, but we usually have no trouble bringing them back to operation. This repair is bench tested extensively, just like our speedometer and odometer repairs.
